Overview

The Khountou REST API gives read access to the platform's public data. It is free for reasonable non-commercial use.

Base URL

https://api.khountou.sn/v1

JSON responses, UTF-8 encoding.
Authentication with an API key in the Authorization header (Bearer).
Pagination with the page and limit parameters (100 maximum).
Editorial texts in French or English with the lang=fr|en parameter.

Endpoints

Endpoints marked with a padlock require a partner key.

GET	/administrations/{slug}	Profile, score details and indicators of an administration.
GET	/khountous	Published citizen reports (filters: region, category, status, period).
GET	/khountous/{slug}	Detail of a report, its timeline and the official response.
GET	/verifications	Fact-checks with verdict and evidence level.
GET	/regions	Indicators of the 14 regions.
GET	/datasets/{id}	Download an open dataset (format=csv\|json\|xlsx).
POST	/khountous	Submit a report on behalf of a partner (partner key required).

Beyond the quota, the API returns code 429 (Too Many Requests). The X-RateLimit-* headers show the remaining quota.
